Privacy
The Daily Reflection on the home page runs entirely in your browser. What you type is matched against the 25 Tenets locally and is never sent to a server. Nothing is stored. Nothing is logged. Nothing is shared.
A live AI agent is in development. When that agent goes live, it will require sending your input to an AI model for a response, and the privacy posture will change. We will publish the new privacy terms before the agent ships, and the agent will be optional — the doctrine-matched reflection will remain available offline.
Not a clinical service
The Church of Better Men is a community of practice and a body of doctrine. We are not licensed to diagnose, treat, or counsel mental-health conditions, addictions, medical issues, or legal matters. Reflection is not therapy. The doctrine is not a treatment plan. If you need professional help, please find a licensed practitioner.
Not a substitute for community
A daily reflection is a beginning, not an end. The doctrine teaches that brotherhood is medicine and that no one rises alone. If you are isolated, please find a real-world circle — church, fellowship, recovery room, men's group, friend you trust. The directory at gogoselfcontrol.org catalogues hundreds of options.
Doctrine notice
The 5 Pillars and 25 Tenets are the doctrine of The Church of Better Men, authored by the three Abbotts. You are welcome to read, share, and live with them. If you reproduce them in writing or in teaching, please attribute them to The Church of Better Men.
Liability
Use of this site does not establish a counselling, ministerial, or fiduciary relationship. The site operators do not accept liability for harm arising from interpretation or application of the doctrine. Walk the path at your own discretion.
